Trap, Spay, Release
Highland Lakes neighborhood is beginning a new initiative to minimize the growth of the cat population in our neighborhood. The amount of stray cats is not only bad for the people living in the neighborhood but also for the cats. Having too many cats causes them to be hit by cars and the competition among cats for territory can make them stressed and hungry.
In this project we are passing cat traps around the neighborhood and having neighbors trap the cats, bring them to the Humane Society of Greater Miami to be spayed or neutered and given vaccinations, and then they are released back to where they were taken. This will help control the excessive and ever-growing stray cat community while making the cats there healthier and happier.
If you want a trap contact us and we will drive one over to you.
